Flowers for my Mom

This post is dedicated to my wonderful mom. Happy Mother's Day! Thanks for always being there for me. I couldn't have asked for a better mom! And Happy Mother's Day to all the other moms who read my blog. You're special too, just not as special as my mom ;)

My ole SP coworker Doug told me to check out the Carlsbad Flower Fields when I moved to Carlsbad last fall. I had no idea where they were and over time I keep hearing them mentioned in the area. I finally asked someone where they are and low and behold I had been driving by them at least 3 times a week for months. In my defense, they weren't in season for most of that time....and Carlsbad has plants and flowers everywhere.
